Justice Formation

In leading the IHM parish members to a deeper understanding of social justice, we try to provide a variety of formation opportunities. They include:

  • Annually Journey to Justice Retreat is offered to explore various topics such as immigration, poverty, housing, and other issues over a weekend with an inner city plunge experience.  Contact Sue Keefe 232 9702. skkeefe@fuse.net
  • Sunday Social Issue Forums: Offered four Sunday mornings throughout the year with speakers after 9:30 Mass in Heritage Hall.  This year, the series is "Living a Faith That Does Justice"   Contact Sue Keefe 232 9702. skkeefe@fuse.net
  • Justfaith (Justfaith.org) is offered when there are enough students interested in the course. Just Faith is a national program, based in Louisville, Kentucky.  The goal of the Just Faith progam is to "empower people of faith to develop a passion and thirst for justice".  Contact Jack Newfield 474 6249. newfield6@fuse.net
