COIN COLLECTION 
All loose change placed in the collection baskets at Mass go to local charities. Chair: Bill Haines
FOOD FROM THE HEART-monthly 
Donations are collected the third weekend of the month (Saturday and Sunday Masses). Donations go to the Southeastern Ecumenical Ministries (SEM) local food pantry. Donations can be left at other times in the bins located in the closet across from the choir room. The people we serve are very grateful and depend on our parish's support. Co-Chairs: Pat and Harry Manton.
BABY SHOWER-Mother's Day Weekend 
Bring new or gently used baby items, maternity clothes or equipment for our Baby Shower. Items are donated to four agencies that assist mothers in need. Chair: Jayne Runk.
CHRISTMAS IN JULY
Christmas trees with tags are placed in the gathering space. Take a tag and bring in a household items for our Christmas in July collection. Donations are given to A Caring Place, Welcome House, Bethany House, and Mercy Franciscan at St. John's. Co-Chairs: Lisa Henkes and Bill Haines.
SCHOOL HOUSE COLLECTION-August 
Donate new or gently used back packs and school supplies to the School House project for the children of Welcome House in Covington KY and St. Leo's Pantry in Northside, Cincinnati. Co Chairs: Bill and Pat Tekulve.
COAT COLLECTION-October 
New or gently used coats for the Coat Collection in October. These coats are distributed to various agencies. The parish is asked to be generous and help keep someone else warm this winter. Chair: Joe Schuh.
GIVING TREE- December
Christmas trees with tags are placed in the gathering space in late November. Please take some tags from the trees and return the items on Giving Tree weekend in December. These gifts benefit Welcome House, Bethany House, Mercy Franciscan at St. John's, Birthright, Anderson Senior Citizens, Beattyville, KY Queen of All Saints Church, Connections, Caring Place, SEM, St. Vincent dePaul, and our own parish families. PROJECT 5000- February

Jesus asked the disciples to feed the 5000 with a few loaves and fish. As disciples, we are asked to fill a bag for Project 5000 in February. Bags are distributed the weekend before and parish families are filled to fill with enough food items to last a family for a week. The Mercy Franciscan at St. John's truck will be in the parking lot to receive the donations. These vital donations will help restock the pantry shelves in winter. Chair: Ed Lear
ST. VINCENT de PAUL 
Make financial contributions to St Vincent de Paul (SVdP) during the 5th Sunday of the month collections or bring in clothing during their twice-yearly Bundle Sunday Collections. The SVdP truck will be in the parking lot to receive donations.

JANUARY – CISE SCHOOLS

The Catholic Inner-City Schools Education Fund uses contributions to provide tuition aid to students and operating expenses to schools. Eight Catholic schools from the areas of Northside, Corryville, Walnut Hills, Over-the-Rhine, Price Hill, West End and Evanston are the beneficiaries. Sixty-nine percent of the students in these schools live in poverty.
MARCH- AID TO EASTERN EUROPE

Funds from this collection to Central and Eastern Europe are used for 1,000 projects in 22 countries to support religious and moral education, religious communication through mass media, restoration of churches, seminaries, and convents, and the revitalization of Catholic charitable organizations. As members of the worldwide community of Catholics, you are asked to assist by your generous donation.
APRIL-HOLY LAND SHRINES

Few places in the world are as precious to Catholics as those where Jesus Christ walked, taught, lived, and died. Your generosity can help keep alive those holy places and the Franciscan missionaries who serve the people there. Please be generous when the annual collection for the shines and the people of the Holy Land is taken up on Good Friday.
APRIL-CATHOLIC RELIEF SERVICES

The Catholic Relief Services Appeal is an annual collection that reflects the generosity of the US Catholic community towards the needs of our brothers and sisters around the world. Contributions from this appeal are distributed to four Catholic agencies internationally noted for their mission to uphold the dignity of the human person, Catholic Relief Services, Migration and Relief Services, Department of Social Development and World Peace of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops, and Holy Father's Relief Fund. These four agencies carry out programs in emergency relief, health and nutrition, agriculture, small enterprise, refugee resettlement, human rights, education, and promoting awareness of international and social justice issues.
JUNE-HOLY FATHER'S COLLECTION (PETER'S PENCE)
The Peter's Pence Collection for the works of the Holy Father asks us to help him provide for our neediest brothers and sisters throughout the world, those who suffer due to war, oppression, and natural disasters. Join the Holy Father in this act of justice and kindness.
AUGUST-MISSIONARY COOPERATIVE PLAN

Through the Missionary Cooperative Plan (Missionary Cooperative Appeal Sunday), missionaries speak in parishes. Recent contributions have gone to mission work in Africa.
OCTOBER-RESPECT LIFE

Contributions are used to provide funds for Respect Life ministries and services throughout the Church. Please give generously for this important work.
OCTOBER-WORLD MISSION SUNDAY

On World Mission Sunday, we are reminded that Jesus' mission is our mission: to bring the Good News to the poor. Through our help in this special collection we can provide solid support for the Church's mission work. We unite with Catholics throughout the world in a special commitment to the missionary task that we all share.
NOVEMBER-CAMPAIGN FOR HUMAN DEVELOPMENT (CCHD)
Founded in 1969, CCHD is a domestic anti-poverty social justice program of the US Catholic Bishops and the nation's largest private funder of programs that empower the poor.
DECEMBER-RETIREMENT FUND FOR RELIGIOUS

The Retirement Fund for Religious has been established to meet the needs of the retired religious brothers and sisters who given their lives in service of others.
