Parish Religion Program (PRP)

 

Parish Religion Program (PRP) provides faith formation for children in grades 1-8 who attend public schools. There are two options available: Sunday PRP and Summer PRP.
 
Sunday PRP parallels closely the academic calendar, beginning in September and ending in late May. The students meet with catechists on Sunday mornings for one and one-half hours each time. This program provides a rich classroom experience throughout the year.
 
Sunday PRP: September 12, 2010 –May 1, 2011 (Sundays)
                            **NEW TIMES** 10:45 a.m. – 12:15 a.m.

 

Based on parent input, this new time change will allow PRP students and their families to attend 9:30 Mass before PRP sessions begin.

Summer PRP is a condensed, more intense experience of catechesis, with students participating in a two week session during the summer. Daily sessions begin and end with group prayer which is led by the students. All classes attend Mass and grades 3-8 attend a reconciliation service. Summer PRP families make a commitment to attend formation follow-up opportunities offered throughout the school year.
 
Summer I: June 14, 2010 – June 25, 2010 (9:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.)
Summer II: June 14, 2010 – June 25, 2010 (5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.)
Summer III: July 19, 2010 – July 30, 2010 (9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.)

Young Children's Program (YC)

 

 

The Young Children’s Program (YC) is a dynamic pre-school program for age three to kindergarten. It is offered on Sunday mornings during the 9:30 a.m. Mass
 
Young Children’s Session: September 12, 2010-May 1, 2011 (Sundays)
9:15 a.m.-10:30 a.m. (or the end of Mass)
